SAIC Wins $42 Million Single-Award U.S. Navy Contract

The United States Navy has Awarded Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) a prime single-award contract with a value of more than $42 million to support the United States Fleet Forces Command (USFF). The USFF supports the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) and Combatant Commanders worldwide.

The six-month period of performance, four one-month options contract will allow SAIC to render operational and tactical support to the USFF and associated fleet commands.

The contract purpose is primarily for training of fleet but the defense contractor will also provide development, execution, assessment, and reconstruction of simulation-driven training events and exercises assistance.

SAIC has approximately 41,000 employees worldwide and is headquartered in the Tysons Corner area of McLean.
