Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI)with headquarters in the Tysons Corner area of McLean, has won another contract by the General Services Administration (GSA). This time SAIC will deliver telecommunication equipment and related services under the competitive indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.
The multiple-award, three year performance period, IDIQ contract has a potential peak value of $5 Billion with all options exercised.
SAIC has built networks for both the Federal Government's largest military and civilian networks. The network settings include metropolitan, campus and local-area networks to world-wide carrier-grade backbone networks.
"We look forward to supporting the telecommunications infrastructure needs of the US Government around the world," said Rick Reynolds, SAIC senior vice president and acting business unit general manager.
SAIC shares traded down -0.60% to close at $11.52 with an approximate market cap of $3.93 Billion.
