The City of Memphis, Tenn. has awarded McLean-based Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) a prime contract to develop the City’s IT infrastructure.
Under the $37 million contract, SAIC will provide comprehensive IT services and solutions to the City’s Division of Information Services, by lowering costs, increasing capabilities, and strengthening the Memphis’ security posture.
The contract has a five year base period, and two one-year options. The contract also allows local minority owned business to deliver 30% of the City’s IT services.
