Defense contractor Leidos wont have to go far to perform a contract it secured from the U.S. Armed force Research Laboratory (ARL).
The ARL recently awarded Leidos with a prime contract to provide surveillance, reconnaissance and intelligence services it is also mandated to provide concepts research and development, the total contract value for all the award sums up to approximately $49 million. The work will be performed and handled at the ARL facility on the Montgomery and Prince George's Counties border in Silver Spring and Adelphi. The facility is also in close proximity of the new Food and Drug Administration headquarters.
Leidos Group President, John Fratamico stated that they anticipate to give the Army Research Laboratory propelled innovation support and creative ISR ideas to increase technical performance, enhance reliability and diminish expenses of existing items and frameworks.
