Fairfax-based ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), was awarded a re-compete contract by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families, Children's Bureau.
The $44.6 Million contract was given to ICF International to provide clearinghouse services to children and families living in poverty through the Bureau. The government contractor will manage the Child Welfare Information Gateway for use by professionals and parents to protect children in the United States. The information produced will focus on several areas including child abuse, child welfare, and adoption.
ICF International said it has had custody of the contract for 20 years.
