General Dynamics Receives $65 Million U.S. Navy Contract

Falls Church-based General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) announced its General Dynamics C4 Systems division was awarded a $64.5 million contract by the U.S. Navy's Space andNaval Warfare Systems Center.

General Dynamics C4 will provide services for the Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW) Software which will allow the U.S. military send large amounts of data of its network at fast speeds.

The five-year,indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is part of the Joint Tactical Radio System(JTRS) waveform library. General Dynamics C4 Systems is also the prime contractor for the JTRS Handheld, Manpack, Small Form Fit radio program.
